2012 might be the year that I had most sickness days. So far it is only in the beginning of the year, but I think I have had about the same amount of sick days as healthy days. Luckily I have been able to work most of my sick days.
Except for the cold that took about 7-8 weeks to get rid of (and I still cough a little) I sprained my ankle a bit some days ago. At least, as I am so used to that it seldom becomes a long convalescence. That’s why I could walk the horses. Yesterday evening (the first day the foot felt totally ok) I got my sons stomach flu. Now I sit here with and have managed to drink a cup of “blueberry soap” (suposed to be gentle with the stomach, and of course not the full cup at once but divided in small portions). I guess I didn’t have any other plans for the weekend?

The worst things with all those illnesses is actually not themselves but that I can’t continue with things that needs to be done. We have to finish the last things with the stable, I need to certify Percy so I can breed her and I need to train Pepper and Calinka (and walk the dog, and care for the house and my family). As I am standing on the same spot, the time is running fast forward.

And I know – it could have been much worse, none of those illnesses it lethal or severe – just time consuming.
