Sandra and I went to the stable together to try to solve the horse problems she has had.As suspected Calinka didn’t do anything in the stall – I was there (even if not in her stall). We brought her out and Sandra tried to take her around a field a bit. No problem so they headed of a road and I went back to the stable. Then Calinka found time to try her rider and didn’t want to go along the road. Luckily I was within eyesight and could yell some instructions – and then they walked of happily. Often you only need to tell Calinka that she have to and then everything is fine.
Percy was the next one. No problem to leave the stable area, basically nothing until we came to the field. That is positive as she has started earlier previous times. I tried to keep myself in the background to influence the horse the least possible. At the field Percy tried to find short cuts home and didn’t want to go on a straight line. Going in the opposite direction of home was not favored. There was something to work with and Maria and I have probably had smaller versions of this. It is hard to know why she does like this with Sandra now, if she is a period when she tries everyone, or new people or spring hormones. Well, Percy didn’t get as she wanted and that is good enough.
Pepper seemed depressed and I wonder if he is eating as he should. But I can’t see anything that implies that he should be sick. Therefore I brought him out and long reined a bit. Finally it was ok to do some more work, haunches in etc. Hopefully some attention get him back in mood.
Bunny was most sorry as she didn’t get a lot of attention.
