När Whizzy kom ville Calinka bara skicka henne raka vägen hem till Holland men nu betar de oftast tillsammans och bevisligen mer än så…

When Whizzy arrived Calinka only wanted to get her back to Netherlands as soon as possible but now the graze together most of the time and apparently they are closer than that…
Idag fick Whizzy följa med på släp efter Calinka. H
on skötte sig jättebra! Vi var ute 15-20 minuter och på ställen där hon inte varit förut. Mötte till och med en bil på hemväg. Jag gillar att träna mina unghästar så här, det känns som ett bra sätt att introducera många olika saker i en lugn miljö samtidigt som man kan ge dem lite kondition om det behövs.
Today Whizzy got ponied after Calinka for the first time. She did great! We was away for 15 – 20 minutes at places she hasn’t been yet. We even meet a car on the way back. I like to train my youngsters like this; it feels like a good way to introduce many things in a calm environment and if needed give them a work-
out.
Whizzy
Igår kom jag iväg till stallet en halvtimme tidigare än vanligt. Vilken skillnad! Plötsligt hann jag mycket mer än jag brukar. Både Pepper och Calinka tömkördes, Iris tog en kort promenad och Maria och jag hjälptes åt att bada av Percy. Antagligen berodde det på att det flöt på bra med, att inget krånglade men så skönt att det fungerade så bra!
Det är så många kvällar det blivit tvärtom och jag kommer iväg senare än jag önskat och då hinns ju nästan inget alls trots att det alltid går att hitta något att göra.
Tyvärr ramlade Calinka under gårdagens tömkörningspass så hon får nog inte ridas snabbare än skritt. Jag hade en förhoppning att träningen skulle hjälpa/ att det bara var en engångs händelse men så verkar det tyvärr inte vara.
Annars är det kul att se hur bra flocken nu fungerar i hagen. Calinka och Whizzy går mycket tillsammans liksom Percy och Iris.
Only half an hour
Yesterday I got to the stable half an hour earlier than usual. What a difference! I got so much more things done. Both Pepper and Calinka got long reined, Iris went for a short walk and I helped Maria to bath Percy. Probably the reason was mainly that everything worked out smoothly, but it is so nice when it does!
Pepper
It has been just the opposite many other evenings when I get away much later than I would prefer and hardly have time to do anything.
Sadly Calinka did fall down again while I long reined her so she is going to be walk only if ridden. I hoped that some training would get her better but it don’t seem to help.160606
Otherwise I enjoy watching how good the horses get together. Calinka and Whizzy spends a lot of time and Percy and Iris is together a lot.

runt i hagarna och mysa med hästarna är extra underbart. I torsdagskväll tömkörde jag först Pepper och sedan Calinka. Det var nästan magiskt, de var så duktiga, skötte sig så bra, som om de också påverkades av den underbara dagen.
Igår tog jag istället ut Iris och Whizzy på promenad för att titta på allt “läskigt som börjar komma upp inför riddarspelen som går av stapeln nästa helg. Whizzy brydde sig inte om flaggan medan Iris var mycket tveksam. Nu råkade den röra sig lite mer när jag var förbi med Iris, men ändå. Däremot ville båda skynda hemåt lite (jobbigt att vara själv) så vi fick dels lydnadsträna och dels hitta på avledande manövrar. Bl.a. finns nu ett antal stolpar uppsatt och dem gick vi slalom kring, passerade över något litet dike etc. Whizzy följde utan problem med genom en trång passage medan Iris tyckte det var jobbigare. Diken hade Iris lättare för än Whizzy. Det är kul att se deras olika personligheter och vad de reagerar på. Jobbigast av allt tyckte nog Whizzy det var att vara utan andra hästar medan Iris ansåg det vara flaggan.
Evenings
I learned that Whizzy likes a tail rub.
In my view it is the most beautiful time of the year right now. To only be around the horses and cuddel is better than ever. At Thursday evening I long reined first Pepper and then Calinka. It was nearly magical, they worked so well,a s they also were stunned by the evenings beauty.
Yesterday I brough Iris and Whizzy for a walk to look at strange things that are put up because of the Jousting games next weekend. Whizzy didn’t care about the flag but Iris wasn’t happy about it. It happened to move a little while I was there with Iris but she still cared much more than Whizzy. Both wanted to go home fast (hard to be alone) so we had to do some obedience training as well as finding distracting activities. There were a lot of poles put up for the event so we did slalom around them and also found a couple of ditches to pass. Whizzy
Calinka also likes a tail scratch – but she managed to fix that by herself this time!
didn’t care about a tight pass-throw but Iris had to think for a second. But Iris was better with ditches. It is fun to watch their differences and how the react. Whizzy probably thought being alone to be the hardest of it all while Iris disliked the flag the most.
I am at the same spot as with Whizzy but Iris looked very suspicious at the flag. When she looked more closely at it I hadn’t any chance to make a photo as she was more tense.
