Tolkning

Bunny (and Mika the dog).

Oj, jag har visst glömt bort att berätta att vi tolkade förra helgen. Isac blev lite sugen på att åka miniskidor efter häst så då fick Bunny ställa upp. Hon är så stabil när det gäller tolkning. Eftersom jag bara ledde henne så passade det perfekt för en promenad på kanske tio minuter (inklusive ett par vurpor). När man inte är så van på skidor är det inte helt lätt. Isac fick dock blodad tand och vill åka mera. Så frågan var vilken häst jag skulle ta då. Till slut föl valet på Honey. (Calinka, Iris, Whizzy och Pepper är också bra på att dra någon i snön men Calinka hade precis arbetats , Pepper föredrar högre tempo och unghästarna skulle ändå motioneras senare samma dag). Vi ledde Honey med tolkningslinor en gång förra året och jag har tömkört henne utan problem några gånger. Jag var lite tveksam, men det gick jättebra. Hon tyckte det var aning otäckt, men hon slutade inte lyssna utan sökte sig snarast till mig för stöd. Lite otäckt när Isac trillade eller det lät mer på vägen, men det var ok. Så nöjd med min grå! (Percy däremot gillar inte att dra något i snön, av okänd anledning gillar hon det inte alls).

Oups, I forgot to tell about last weekends skiing. Isac wanted to try to be pulled at the the mini-skis behind a horse so I pulled out Bunny. She is just great at this job. As I only led her it was a perfect thing to do with her for about ten minutes (including a couple of falls for Isac). When you aren’t that used to skiing isn’t it that simple. Back home Isac wanted to ski more and after some thinking I pulled out Honey. (Whizzy, Iris, Calinka and Pepper is also good at it, but Calinka had just been worked, Pepper prefers some more speed and the youngsters were scheduled for a trail ride). We led Honey once with the skiing lines last year and she long reins well. Still, I was a little uncertain about the idea, but she did great. It was a little scary, but she listed to me and wanted me to comfort her. When Isac fell it was a little scary to as well as on the road as the sound got more pronounced, but she could make it. So happy with my grey! (Actually she did better than Percy – she by some strange idea don’t want to pull anyone in the snow and finds it kind of scary)
