Julmarknad
Julmarknaden har gjort det lite svårare att jobba hästarna de senaste dagarna. Det är folk, marknadsstånd och bilar överallt. Men, det bjuder också på träningstillfällen, så jag tog ut Pepper på tömkörning. Han var stressad och pigg, men ett perfekt tillfälle att träna lydnad i en lite ovan miljö och med nya hästar i närheten. Inte varje dag det serveras på hemmaplan. Bunny fick istället komma ut på promenad till allén där alla människor går mellan marknaden och parkeringen – precis bredvid kunde man beta och först var hon för stressad att vilja smaka på gräset, men efter en stund åt hon lungt och efter ytterligare en stund gick vi upp och hälsade på några förbipasserade. Hon fick flera beundrare, som särskilt berömde hennes vackra färg!
Percy fick även hon besöka marknaden påföljande dag – det märks att hon är mera van, hon var inte lika orolig som Bunny. Inga problem att gå brevid tända julgranar och brinnande marschaller! Dessutom stoppade hon glatt fram huvudet till två personer i rullstol som gärna ville hälsa. Som bonus är både Bunny och Calinka mycket bättre.
The Christmas market that have been going on this weekend has made it a little bit harder to exercise the horses those last days. It is people, market stands and traffic all over the place and the surroundings. But, it also gives new opportunities for training. Therefore I brought Pepper and long reined him on a field close by. He was stressed and energetic, but it was a very good opportunity to test obedience in a new surrounding and with other horses around. Not everyday you get that at home. With Bunny, I brought her down the alley where all people walk between the market and the parking. She could eat some grass just beside th walk, even if she was a bit to stressed to do that at first. But, after a while she started to feed and a little later we went up to the road and talked to some people. She got some admirers, that especially commented on her beautiful color!
Percy also got to visit the market the following day. She is much more used to this kind of things (or of me putting her in strange situations). She didn’t find it strange at all to walk by Christmas trees with lights or light outdoor torches! She also put her head in two persons in wheelchair laps that wanted to say hello. And Bunny and Calinka is doing much better.
Josse besök
Idag fick jag åter igen besök – ytterligare en gammal kompis – Josse den här gången. Josse ska ha barn snart så istället för att rida myste vi med hästarna och så tömkörde jag Pepper. Och så snackade vi massor, med varsin häst och liv i olika städer blir det ont om tid för det.
Today I got a visitor again. Josse an old friend. As Josse is going to have a baby soon we skipped activities on horseback, but instead cuddles with the horses and I long reined Pepper. And of course we talked a lot – as both is horse owners and lives in different cities there isn’t much time for that.
I Sverige
Nu är Bunny i Sverige sedan ett par timmar. Troligen hos mig omkring 15.
Now is Bunny in Sweden since a couple of hours. She is probably at my place around 15.
