To few updates here this year. It has been, and still is some problems with the page. Anyway, I found some baby pics of Chili.
Den 29 mars föddes rödskimmelhingsten Chili efter att mamma Bunny burit honom längre tid än något av sina tidigare föl. Bunny ansåg att bästa platsen var längst bort i hagen. Tyvärr var det en inte så varm dag så Chili frös ordentligt så jag flyttade honom in i lösdriften efter en stund. Där trivdes han bra mycket bättre och kom snart upp på benen och hittade mat. Han växte snabbt på sig och har visat sig vara en riktig buskille som de andra hästarna får säga till då de tycker han är lite väl påflugen och jobbig. Mamma Bunny verkar tycka det är skönt när hon ibland kan få en liten stund ifred utan sonen.
Bunny gave after a longer gestation period than for any of her other foals, birth to the red roan colt Chili March 29. Bunny thought the best place for giving birth was in the other end of the pasture. Unfortunately wasn’t it a warm day, but a rather chili one so Chili got very cold and I had to bring him into the shed. He thought that was a much better place and was soon up on his feet and finding some food. He has been growing fast and loves to play around. The other horse sometimes thinks he is a bit to much and it seems as his mother sometimes likes to get some time on her own, without him.
