Pepper fixades iordning och så fick han följa med upp till slottet för fotografering inför kommande hemsida. Mariah och sambo dök upp med kamerorna i högst hugg. Fotografering var inte Peppers favorit – eller om han gillade slottet på nära håll. Helst ville han stå på mig och bitas. Inte riktigt min tanke om det hela. Men, jag tror faktiskt att det var hans sätt att söka stöd, även om det blev lite felvänt. Vi får jobba på kommunikationen och att lära känna varandra för att slippa sådant. Både före och efter uppförde han sig nämligen exemplariskt. Ska bli kul att se fotona…

Tyvärr blev ljuset för dåligt så stona hann inte fotas. Däremot hann jag äntligen sitta upp på Pepper. Inga problem, det svåra var bara att parkera honom nära uppsittningspallen. Sedan var det precis som jag mindes. Han är väldigt vinglig och svarar inte riktigt som han ska på hjälperna ännu – som en väldigt grön häst. Men, det kommer att ge sig även om jag insåg att tömkörningen nog kommer att vara bättre för hans dressyrskolning den närmaste tiden. Ridningen får bli ut i naturen för att stärka leder och ligament i skritt.

Maggan and I got the ladies out for half an hour. As Calinka didn’t look lame I got on her back and Maggan and Percy walked behind. And Percy got a bridle on for the first time. No problems at all, she just chewed a little on the bit, but then she just didn’t bother. Maggan told me that if Percy got a little insecure about something she got up close to her; she probably had preferred to get into Maggan’s lap. However, it was not in a disrespectful way, just Percy that wanted to get support. Sweetheart! Sadly the sun got to low so we didn’t get any time to photograph the mares.

Pepper was prepared and we brought him along to the castle for photographing. Need some photos for the webpage that is prepared. Mariah and her boyfriend came with their cameras. Photographing wasn’t Peppers favorite – or if it was the castle environment he didn’t like. He preferred to nearly stand on me and nip. Not really my idea about how it should be. Some think made me wonder if it was his way of searching support as Percy did earlier with Maggan. Before and after he behaved perfect, but as soon as I tried to take a step back and get out of the picture he came along (even if I told him to stay) and tried to nip when corrected. As we learn to know each other better I think this is going to get better. I look forward to see the photos…

BUT finally I got possibility to ride Pepper! There was no problems, just like I remembered him. The only problem was to get him close to the mounting block. He is rather unstable in his way of going, like a really green horse. But he just needs some time, but I realized that ground driving probably going to be the best way to school him in dressage right now. While saddled up, we are going to work on strengthening ligaments and tendons, hacking out in walk.
