Framtidsplaner

Det känns som om jag bloggat mindre det senaste året än någonsin sedan jag började. Dels känns det i alla fall som om det inte hänt så mycket och dels har jag haft annat i tankarna. För om något har 2016 inte varit ett lugnt år utan fullspäckat med allt möjligt.

Nu är tiden inne att avslöja vad som ockuperat min tid och mycket tankar:
Vi kommer flytta! Till Ullekalv!

För att få hästar och boende närmare varandra har vi länge funderat på en lösning. Det har funnits många alternativ och tankar som vi bollat genom åren. Till slut lyckades vi få del av köpa grannfastigheten till mina föräldrar. Bara att få till avstyckningen från Lantmäteriet tog 10 månader.

Det är en gård som stått obebodd sedan 1991 och de flesta husen är i så dåligt skick att de bara är att riva. Men den stora ladugården är förhållandevis fin och kommer transformeras till stall vad det lider. De nästan fem hektaren marken har såtts med vall och hagar ska ordnas och trädgården fixas. Det innebär nybyggnation av bostadshus, flytt av lösdrift och reparation av de hus som är tillräckligt oskadda. (I somras la vi exempelvis om taket på det gamla hönshuset).
Allt det här tar tid och arbete, särskilt med ett par barn och ett gäng hästar som behöver sitt.  Trots det har vi i perioder arbetat en dag i veckan med projektet på plats och många kvällar med planering hemma.

Största anledningen till att inte skriva om det tidigare har varit att barnen inte varit helt medvetna om vad som pågår: det kommer bli en omställning att byta skola och varför ta upp det år i förväg? Nu börjar vi få någon form av tidsuppfattning även om det fortfarande finns frågetecken. Papper för bygglov kommer skickas in vilken dag som.

Så, framöver kommer nog mycket att handla om uppbyggandet av en hästgård.

Future plans

I feel as I haven’t been very committed to the blog in 2016. At on part it feels as there hasn’t happened a lot with the horses but I have had much else on my mind. Cause 2016 has been full of som many things.

And now is time to reveal what has occupied my mind the most:

We are going to move! To Ullekalv!

We have been thinking and planning for a way to get horses and house closer to each other for a long time. There have been many thoughts and ways to try to solve this but finally we got to buy part on a farm close to my parents. It is an old farm and no one have been living there since 1991. Most houses are in such a bad shape that we have to tear them down.But the big barn isn’t that bad and is going to be the stable. There is about five hectare of land (including the garden) were grass is starting to grow and I have been starting to work with the fence (that takes a lot of time). We need to build a new house to live in, repair the ones that we keep and move the shelter the horses use now.

It takes time and a lot of work and we both have full time work, two kids and a bunch of horse. Even if this place is about 45 minutes form our home today have we spent nearly one day each week on this project and several evenings of planning.

As you understand this has been going on for sometime. I haven’t written about it before as the kids hasn’t been totally updated about why we have been doing this. The have to change schools and why bring that up years in advance? We are starting to get some kind of idea about when things are going to happen but still nothing is totally decides upon.

2017 is going to be a lot about this move and I am probably going to write about it now and then.
