Pepper seems to wonder: Didn’t it used to be the arena and the mares over there?
Idag är riddarspel, men hästarna verkar ta det ganska lungt. Bild på stona när det värsta ljudet började dra igång, men speaker, applåder och jubel bara bakom hörnet (men utom synhåll). Tyvärr missade jag att ta bilder på showen, ska försöka mig på det imorgon. 

Pepper var lite oroligare, mest när hästar kom och gick, men efter ett tag betade även han med. Det yttrade sig i att han gnäggade några gånger och gick fram och tillbaka.

Today is a tournament, but the horses is rather calm. The picture is of the mares when the tournament started, with speaker, applause and cheering around the corner (but without of sight). Sadly I messed to photograph the show – tomorrow maybe.

Pepper was a little more nervous, mostly when horses entered and left, but after a while he was eating as well. It showed as he called for the horse a couple of times and walked around more than usual.

Igår ville Isac få pepper att springa som han har sett att hans mamma gör… Jag fick inte hjälpa honom med spöet. Tillsammans fick vi Pepper att springa lite (Och Pepper var väldigt snäll och hjälpsam). Sedan skulle han matas. Mycket viktigt. 🙂

Yesterday Isac wanted to get Pepper to run as he has seen his mom do…I wasn’t allowed to use the whip. Well, together we managed to get Pepper to run a bit. (And Pepper was very nice and polite)  And then he had to feed him as well – Very important. 🙂

Regnig torsdag

Stona var kvar i sin nya hage och ytterligare två hästar har kommit inför helgen. Idag tittade jag och Isac bara till hästarna en snabb vända och Isac skulle fotografera hästarna…

The mares was still in their pasture and two more horses had arrived for this weekends show. Today Isac and I only looked after the horses and Isac wanted to photograph them.

Mimmi och jag red stona i hagen som snart är ko bete. Korna var i hagen bredvid och Percy tittade lite fundersamt på dem. Calinka såg ut att sköta sig bra och Percy töltade mer än senast. Dessutom kollade hon alla flaggor som satts upp utanför – jag var bara rädd att hon skulle dra ner någon… När tjejerna var klara fick de gå ut i den nya hagen medan vi jobbade Pepper.
Pepper var lite ofokuserad – nyfiken på de nya hästarna på andra sidan ridbanestaketet. Först var han spänd  och började tölta, men ganska snabbt slappnade han av och började trav. Galopp var han däremot inte så sugen på – tömkörning börjar visst bli tråkigt igen..
Mimmi and I rode the mares in the pasture that soon is going to be occupied by cows.The cows was in the pasture right next to this one and Percy looked a little bit concerned and curiously at them. Calinka seemed to work well and Percy gaited more than last time. She also checked out all flags that is now decorating the alley.I was mostly afraid that she would tear any of them down… When the girls got back they got into a new, temporary pasture.

Pepper was a bit unfocused – curious about the new horses on the other side of the arena fence. First he was a bit tense and gaited on the rein, but relaxed soon and started to trot. Canter was not his cup of tea – apparently long reining is getting boring again…

Igår följde Isac med till stallet för att kolla till hästarna. Inga problem med dem, men Calinka leka monster häst. Jag lyckades fånga några bilder på henne när hon gjorde utfall mot de stackars nya grannarna. Någon som tycker hon ser söt och mysig ut? Allt man någonsin önskat sig?

Konstigt nog kan verkar tjejerna inte ha annat för sig än att stå nära valackhagen och irritera sig över idioterna som befiner sig där. Idag får nog stona byta till en temporär hage – vi fixade precis klart den igår.


Yesterday Isac joined me to the stable to check up the horses. Everything was fine with them, but Calinka plays the monster horse. I caught some pictures of her threatening the new neighbors. Someone that thinks  that she looks nice and cuddly? Everything you always wanted?

Strangely enough the girls don’t seem to have anything else to do than to be angry with the strangers. I think my mare is going to change to a temporary pasture today – we just finished it yesterday.
