När fölen nu avvänjs har Pepper fått agera barnvakt. Man märker att fölen har mer respekt för honom, men han fostrar dem väl. Egentligen tycker han nog inte det är så dumt att ha dem där även om han ibland blir sur på dem och tycker att de ska visa respekt.
When the foals are weaned Pepper is babysitting. The foals have more respect for him, but he is fair. I think he likes it even if he sometimes has to tell them to show more respect.
Percy
Äntligen har hästarna kommit igång lite allihopa. Percy, Bunny och Calinka har ridits några gånger, till och med ut i skogen!
Iris, Whizzy och Honey har varit på promenad och löshoppat, men mest tränas de på att vara helt lugna vid uppsittningspallen medan jag börjar klänga runt på dem. Snart är det nog dags för första uppsittningen! När jag vet hur de reagerar med ryttare kommer jag att ha lättare att planera för deras fortsatta träning.
Bunny hadn’t been on long reins for a very long time and not with a bit either but she did fine!
Fölen har fått vara på korta promenader runt gårdsplan och stallet och kollat transporten. Pepper får passa föl, men har fått ta någon promenad och göra några trick. Förhoppningsvis blir det mer regelbunden träning för alla framöver.
Right now our new house is being built so there is a machines working close to the horses but they have been so good anyway! The house is going to be where the excavating is going on.
Finally has all horses started to work a little. Percy, Bunny and Calinka has been ridden, even a few times in the forrest! Iris, Honey and Whizzy has been on walks, been jumping and I have been climbing around them, putting a foot on their backs etc. from the mounting block. It is probably soon time to mount them. When I see how they react on that I know more about how I have to prioritise their training.
The foals have been around the stable and looking at everything including the trailer. Pepper is babysitting but got on a walk and did some tricks. Hopefully all are going to get more consistent training soon – it is starting to get better and better.

Pepper och Percy var inte helt på humör för att löshoppa, även om Percy tyckte att det var allt roligare. Kameran och jag var inte sams – den tog bara suddiga bilder… Nåja, det var kul att låta dem prova på löshoppning även om det tydligen inte var helt rätt dag.

He actually crossed the jumps but this was the only picture I got… Don’t really know what he did.
Pepper and Percy weren’t really in the mood for jumping, even if Percy enjoyed it more and more. The camera and I didn’t agree – it hardly took any sharp pictures… Well, it was fun to let them try even if it seems as it wasn’t the best of days.
