Teas ovanliga konstantskimmling

Look close and you see white hair above the eye and at the eyebrow.
A lot of white hair in the mane…

Teas unusual roaning

Look at those white ears, it is all the way around!
When describing the roan color it is usual to say that the mane and tail retains the base color as well as the head and the legs. On the legs the color continues to the front knees and hooks and ends in a v- shape. Tea seems to have an unusual form of roan. I noticed some time ago that Tea had white hair in her mane. Recently I found white hair in her tail as well and that her roan hairs goes up on her ears, on on the back of her chin and down on her legs. I even found some white hair above her eyebrows!
The reason for those differences is that it is probably more than one gene that gives a roan horse. ( that has probably also made it harder to find the gene for roan.) As horse coat colors as a special interest i find it amusing, but what I like the most is Tea’s white ear base.
Roaning far down the legs both inside and outside.
More leg roaning.
