Ett nytt sto till Pepper

I söndags kom ett nytt sto till Pepper – en appaloosa. Tanken är att hon bara stannar över brunsten, så hon blir nog inte här länge. Det var inga problem med att släppa ihop dem – de bara skrek lite åt varandra och sprang inte ens omkring. Några timmar senare var det till och med ok att Pepper nosade försiktigt under svansen utan minsta reaktion från stoet.  Peppers andra sto däremot – som inte fick vara med utan gå i hagen bredvid i väntan på nästa brunst var mera upprörd – någon snodde hennes kille! Nåja, hon lugnade ner sig snabbt men reagerade mer än de andra två.

At Sunday  arrived a new mare to Pepper – an Appaloosa. She is only staying during her heat cycle, so probably won’t be here for long. There was no problem to get them together – they only screamed a little and didn’t even race around the pasture. Some hours later she even thought it was ok ifPepper sniffed under her tail. Peppers other mare on the other hand – that got to stay in a pasture close by waiting to get in heat got a little upset. Some-one took her boyfriend! She calmed down rather fast but was more reactive than the other two.
