Med hingsten på plats

Inget av stona brunstade när vi släppte samman hästarna. De slutade visa brunst för 1 – 2 brunster sedan. Men se, när nu hingsten var i samma hage – inte på andra sidan staketet så blev Calinka väldigt fort rejält brunstig. Redan en dag efter att de släpptes ihop. Fast Percy gillade det inte riktigt och hängde efter Calinka och tillät inte Pepper att hälsa. Det kunde aldrig leda till något gott tycktes hon tänka och agerade ”förkläde”. Mycket sparkar och skrik från henne alltså. Nåja, i övrigt verkade de ha det bra. Jag lät dem bara vara för att komma in så bra som möjligt i sin roll.

None of the mares was in heat when the horses got together.. They stopped to showing heat 1-2 periods ago. But now, in the same pasture as the stallion and not on the other side of the fence Calinka got in heat really quickly. After just one day she was very much in heat. But Percy didn’t like it and followed Calinka and didn’t allow Pepper to say hello. ”It could never come anything good out of that”, she seemed to think and acted as a chaperon. That resulted in a lot of screams and kicking from her. Otherwise they seems to be fine. I just let hem get some time to get used to their new situation.
