Barnvakt Iris

Jag har märkt att rätt så ofta går fölen med Iris. Vanligast är att Eddie och Iris hänger ihop, men Zeb får ofta vara med han också. Fölen blir allt självständigare och deras mammor “lämnar gärna in dem till någon barnflicka”. Även Calinka passar föl då och då. Och Pepper kan busa runt en del med dem – särskilt Zeb.

Babysitter Iris

Rather often the foals are with Iris. Most often is it Eddie and Iris, but Zeb is also often with them. The foals are more and more away from their mums that don’t seem to mind to “leave them to a babysitter”. Calinka also often care for the foals. And Pepper can play with them – especially Zeb.

Första KMSHA fölet i Sverige

14 september föddes det första Kentucky Mountain Saddle hästfölet i Sverige. Hon heter Aurora och är dotter till ett av de ston som importerades tidigare i år. Det är Kaba som är mamma till denna lilla sötnos! Tack till matte som låtit mig dela nyheten och bilder.

First KMSHA foal born in Sweden

September 14 was the first Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse foal born in Sweden. Her name is Aurora and the daughter of one of the horses that were imported earlier this year. Kaba is the mother of this little cutie! Thanks to her owner I was able to share the news and pictures.

Nyfikna i en strut

Det händer att jag tar med lite småsaker in i hagen. En grimma, en borste, en flugmask….Ofta händer det här – en eller flera av hästarna börjar plocka och lyfta i sakerna så det gäller att det inte är något ömtåligt. Whizzy har lyckats deformera en burk med salva bra bland annat… Å andra sidan är det kul att låta unghästarna undersöka saker i sin omgivning.

Curious girls

Now and then a bring some small stuff with me into the pasture. A halter, a fly mask, a brush… This is often what happens – one or more of the horses starts to check the things out and lift them so it needs to be things that isn’t to fragile. Whizzy has for example got a cream jar to change form… ON the other side is it nice to give the youngsters a chance to check out things.
