Idag lyckades jag ta mig till stallet och satte lite fart på hästarna (de har ton av energi). Hästarna sprang i båda hagar samtidigt som jag fyllde på vatten. Även om inte alla bilderna blev helt skarpa gillade jag dem. Calinka stegrad/hoppade upp på ett sätt jag aldrig sett tidigare samt bockade och sparkade massor (vildast av alla). Pepper stegrade han med och drog en serie bocksprång. Percy blev en arab med hög svanshållning och stannade precis som en arab och blåste hårt genom näsborrarna.

I went to the stable and managed to get the horses to run a little (they have ton of energy). The horses run in both pastures while I filled up the water. Even if not all pictures are 100% sharp I still like them. Calinka managed to rear and jump in a way that I never have seen her do before, as well as a lot of bucking and kicking (she was the “worst” of them all). Pepper rared and bucked a bit of joy and Percy turned into an Arabian – tail held high and stopping blowing hard thru her nostrils.

Percy gillar att mysa, pussa och smaka lite.. Calinka föredrog öronkli.

Percy just love to cuddle, kiss and taste a little.. Calinka preferred ear scratching.

Eftersom maken inte heller mår bra idag tog jag mig upp till stallet. Så härligt att se hästarna!

Och jag såg direkt vad som var på gång. Två ston som stog och hängde mot staketet. Beundrade Pepper som stod på andra sidan och åt. Percy är inte lika intresserad, men nog visade hon tydliga brunsttecken… Calinka bara trånade. Och Pepper bara flemmade när han fick hösilage som tidiagre legat i stonas hage. Dessutom var han ju tvungen att gnägga lite til beundrarna.

As my husband wasn’t well today I went to the horse. So good to see the horses! And directly I saw what was going on. Two mares that stood close to the fence. Admiring Pepper that ate on the other side.. Percy was not as interested but showed the most obvious signs of heat…Calinka just watched. And Pepper was just flehming when he got hay that had been in the mares pasture. And he had to whine a little at the admirers.

Äntligen, äntligen, äntligen, känner jag mig något bättre så idag blev det en tur till stallet. (Får se om det straffar sig till veckan). I alla fall, Mariah jobbade Calinka och Pepper igår så Percy stod först på listan. Jag insåg att det var länge sedan hon var inne själv då hon blev lite orolig och gnäggade. Det blev lite fotlyft och så på med sadel för första gången och så tränset. Sedan gick vi en vända i omgivningen, jag hängde lite på henne från uppsittningspallen och så försökte jag tömköra henne med vanliga tyglar. Det gick sådär, men vad gör man om man är själv och vill försöka få hästen att förstå höger, vänster och stanna? Percy var i alla fall jätteduktig! Inte heller hon kunde motstå soptunnorna på vägen tillbaka.

Calinka var nästa häst på tur, eller snarast Mika som fått dåligt med motion eftersom jag varit sjuk. Skritt barbacka med hund på släp blev alldels lagom för oss alla tre. Dessutom en otroligt vacker dag! Hoppas jag kan fortsätta jobba dem i veckan!

Finally, finally, finally I felt a little bit better so I headed for the stable. (Let’s hope that I won’t have to pay for that later). Anyway, Mariah worked Calinka and Pepper yesterday so Percy was on the top of the list. I realized that it was some time since she was in the stable by herself as she got a little stressed, whining for Calinka. I lifted her feet and then I put a saddle on her back for the first time and then the bridle. We walked a bit and I placed her at the mounting block, putting some weight in the saddle. The I tried to teach her how to react to the bit – left, right and stop. Not very easy on my own; I had planned ground driving but I did as good as I could. Percy did great anyway!And she could neither resist the trash can going back to the stable.

Calinka was next on my list – or it was Mika but by bringing Calinka in we could have a nice bareback walk in the beautiful weather all three of us. Mika has not been walked as much lately as I have been sick so it was really good for here. I really hop that I am going to be able to continue work them all this week!

Tjejerna hittade något farligt att springa från och fick även igång Pepper (som rör sig över ojämn terräng och lite nerförslut).

The girls found something so they had to run a bit and even got Pepper running as well (in the picture he is going slightly downhill on a rough surface)
