| Mimmi and Pepper today – I showed them where the lake is.. |
Eller snarare Pepper gjorde det igen. När jag kom ut stod han och sov vid grinden, har nog aldrig sett hans underläpp hänga så. Titta av någon anledning närmare på honom och såg då att han hade något i svansen. Resterna av ett grindhandtag – men jag har inga fjädergrindar, som detta liknade. Trasslade i alla fall ut metalltråden som dessutom hade ett par meter elvajer efter sig. Pepper stod lungt. Inga synliga skråmor på hästen. Tack och lov för det!
Redan från början hade jag en tanke om vart han hade svängt med svansen och fastnat (så måste det ha gått till). Och visst, längst ner i andra änden av hagen saknades hela kortsidans undertråd. Den hade jag hittat inte långt därifrån. Och nej, det var ingen fjädergrind jag hittat i Peppers svans – det var fjädern i handtaget som dragits ut så pass att jag först misstagit den för en fjädergrind.
När hagen var lagad gav jag och Calinka oss ut på upptäcksfärd. Vi tog oss fram, men inte vart det den bästa av vägar. Nåja, flugridtäcket som vi testade fungerade helt ok, det blev lite lagom med motion och Percy stannade i hagen.

Or, more accurate, Pepper did it again. When I came he stood sleeping at the gate, I think that I have never seen his underlip so relaxed. By some reason I looked a little closer and saw that he had somethhing in his tail.The remaining of a handle from the gate. It resembles a more springlike version that I don’t know that I have.Anyway, I de-tangled it and the attached electric wire at about a couple of meters from the tail while Pepper stood kindly. Luckily, I couldn’t see any damages to Pepper.
From the very begingin I had an idea from where he might have caught it. He must have swung his tail and got stuck. And, in the otehr end of his pasture I got prof of my idea – the middle electrical wire was missing (and the corresponding gate). I had already foudn the missing wire a bit away in the pasture. And, it was not a “spring” like gate – it was a spring inside the handle that had been very streched out!

| Calinka tried the fly rug yesterday |
When I had fixed the pasture I took Calinka for an expedition. We found a new road, but got a little bit too much of road… Well, the fly exercise sheet worked fine and she got good exercise, and Percy was still in the pasture when we got back.
När hagen var lagad gav jag och Calinka oss ut på upptäcksfärd. Vi tog oss fram, men inte vart det den bästa av vägar. Nåja, flugridtäcket som vi testade fungerade helt ok, det blev lite lagom med motion och Percy stannade i hagen.
