Percy promenad

Idag tog jag en 40 minuters promenad med Percy och Mika i mörkret. Man märker knappt att man har henne med, hon bara följer lungt och snällt! Däremot märker man att hon fäller och konstant verkar vara lerig. Innan vi skulle iväg letade jag efter Pepper för att se att han mådde bra; jag såg honom ingenstans och gick längst bort i hagen där han brukar gilla att stå. Ingen Pepper. När jag inte hittade honom någonstans gick jag tillbaka till stallet – och minsan – där stod han vid grinden. Sötnos. Tant Calinka ska ha varit ute en vända med Mariah tidigare under dagen.

Today I took a 40 minute walk with Percy and Mika in the darkness. I hardly noticed that I brought a horse along, she just follows nice and easy!. I did recognize her shedding and that she seems constantly covered in mud. Before we left for our walk I searched for Pepper – just to check that he was ok. I didn’t see him anywhere – not even in the farthest part of the pasture where he likes to stand. When I returned to the stable he stood at the gate. Sweetie. Calinka went for a trail ride with Mariah earlier today.

Pepper

Idag ville Pepper inte bli fångad. När jag skulle ta på grimman gick han istället iväg till grinden. Väl där var det bara att klä på grimman och gå ut. Hela han utstrålade ett mycket större lugn och försökte knappt nafsas en enda gång. Det blev tömkörning en tur i skogen idag. Hel cool. Tränade på halt (de är tråkigt enligt Pepper), öppna, sluta och några gånger ökade vi tempot lite. En kanonkväll.

Today Pepper didn’t want to be caught. When I arrived with the halter he walked way to the gait. Getting the halter on at the gait was no problem. Today he was much calmer, hardly try to nip at all. I long reined him at the roads. He was calm. We trained to stop (boring according to Pepper), sholder in, quarter in and a giat a couple of times. A wonderful evening.

Tömkörning Pepper

Ett försök till film på Pepper, när vi precis börjat. Det finns en mycket längre film som jag behöver korta ner i lämpliga avsnitt (och lyckas ladda upp)

Svettig Calinka

Äntligen fick då Calinka ett efterlängtat racer pass. Efter en timme i skogen återkom hon svettig från huvud till svans till stallet. Stretch och lite arnika blev det innan hon fick gå ut i hagen igen. Väl ute roade hon sig med att dra iväg i galopp…

Filmerna från helgen vill inte ladda upp sig, har försökt massor med gånger till Percy inlägget nedan. Ska jobba på det någon dag när jag har bättre tid.

Finally Calinka got a race tour. After an hour in the forest she returned wet from head to toe. She got some stretching and arnika before I let her back in the field. There she amused herself by cantering of…

The video clips from the weekend don’t want to be uploaded. I have tried a lot of times with the video clip with Percy but it just don’t want to work. I have to look more into that another day.

Percys andra ridpass

Idag var Helena och Mariah med och vi kunde filma lite. De flesta filmer behöver redigeras (kortas ner/delas upp) men denna kunde jag ta direkt. Få se om jag kan få till övriga under veckan.

Percy fick gå en kort promenad med Calinka som sällskap och detta är när vi återkommer till ridbanan. Första töltstegen blev det också (på mitt komando). Det finns bara ett att säga om Percy – vilken otrolig tjej!

Edit: Eftersom det tog så lång tid att få upp filmen fick det bli bonusfilm från ridbanan också. Precis i början blir Percy rädd för något. Måste säga att jag gillade henens reaktion.

Today Helena and Mariah joined me and made it possible to make some videos. Most need some work before being show here (mostly shortening) but this one was ok directly. I hope to be able to get the others up here during next week.

This one shows Percy that took a short trip with Calinka; this is our return to the arena.The first gaiting steps under saddle is recorded (on my command). There is only one thing to say about Percy – what a a good girl!

Edit: As it took such a long time to get the movie uploaded (tried for days) I added an extra movie once I got a grip of the problem. In the start of this second video from Percys second “ride” she got afraid of something in her pasture. I kind of liked her reaction.
