Äntligen ridning

Idag har jag ridit ut med två hästar – det var länge sedan! Först omkring 40 minuter med Percy och sedan 30 minuter med Calinka och Whizzy som handhäst.

Percy tycker det är så kul och väntar vid grinden när man ska ta in henne. Väl på hennes rygg tar hon minsta ändring i skänkel eller sits som att man nog vill gå snabbare än skritt…

Calinka däremot skulle önska att jag skrev minst ett och troligen flera inlägg om dagens ungdoms brist på hyfs. Särskilt Whizzy. Whizzy kom nämligen upp bredvid eller för nära och då blir Calinka sur och vill dels sparka/bitas för att tydligt tala vad hon anser om ungdomen, dels öka takten. ( Och när Calinka ökar takten måste ju ungdomen trava ikapp vilket gör surtanten ännu grinigare så att hon ökar än mer… Men det är ändå den oförskämda unghästens fel…) Tillbaka i hagen var Calinka fortfarande sur och högg åt Whizzy.

Today I have been trail riding two horses – that was a long time since I did that! First about 40 minutes with Percy and then 30 minutes with Calinka, ponying Whizzy.

Percy really enjoys to work now, she stands by the gait and wait fir me to come and get her. While in the saddle she assume that every changes with feet or seat is to get a faster git than walk…

Calinka on the other hand would like me to write at least one post and probably many more about the lack of respect for the older. Especially when it comes to Whizzy. Whizzy did the terrible thing to get up at Calinka’s side or to close to her. At that point Calinka tells her what she thinks about disrespectful youngsters and wants to kick or bite Whizzy as well as go faster. ( And when Calinka walks faster the youngster needs to trot now and then to keep up with her and that only makes the grumpy lady even more pissed off… And all is of course Whizzy’s fault….) Back in the field did Calinka still try to bite Whizzy.
